Same Protea collage piece, but the frame really does something to it.
Mounted on a deep black/dark grey background and finished in either natural pine or a stained teak, it goes from wall collage to proper artwork. The contrast makes the handmade mosaic tiles stand out in a way that's hard to describe until you see it in person.
Everything else stays the same...you send me your favourite photos, I handmake each one into a glass tile and weave them through the botanical motifs that make up the protea shape. The finished piece is 500 x 500mm, ready to hang.

There is a wire on the back for easy hanging. 
The tiles are stuck onto a 9mm MDF backing board, with sealed pine frame.
 
The standard mosaic tile colour is dark grey as shown in these images.
