There's something about the Africa shape that just does something to people.
Each Africa collage is made up of 45 hand-cast, painted and sanded tiles, all fitted together on a wooden backing board to form the continent's outline. The tiles are filled with the motifs I love most - proteas, baobabs, aloes, elephants, rhinos, zebras, all the things that make this place feel like home.
It's become one of the pieces I get the most messages about, especially from people living abroad. You can have it on your wall in London or Sydney, it keeps you connected to here in a way that's hard to explain.
Also available in a protea shape if that feels more like you - similar tiles, same handmade quality, different silhouette.

There is an incorporated ribbon on the back of the collage for easy hanging, and it can also be laid flat if you want to use it as a under tray.  
The tiles are stuck onto a 6mm MDF backing board.
